Graduated with honors in Letters and Philosophy with address "Archaeology and Cultures of East and West" at the University "La Sapienza" of Rome with a thesis on the coinage of the Empire of the Gauls, he also received his degree with thesis numismatics. In 2012 he took part in the classification of part of the numismatic material from the area of the Temple of Magna Mater on the Palatine. In 2014 he publishes, together with Umberto Moruzzi, an article about usurper Proculus and second coin known issued in his name. He is expert on the Roman coinage, especially the Late Antiquity from the third to the fifth century, and Byzantine, especially for the period from the sixth to the 'eleventh century. For the Moruzzi Numismatica is the expert of the Byzantine coinage.
The perceived ideas of an individual are unique and a logical product of different and personal impressions. Although a great deal of intellectual comment is placed freely on the internet, it should not be forgotten that there are moral and legal obligations with respect to the plagiarising of text without the consent of the author.
